Narrative
Unravel the mystery of a town in the middle of the USA that traps anyone who enters. While the residents try to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site known as Beaver Bank Villa has a long history and many years ago it contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, etc.
When Boyd steps into a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remained were the paved streets and driveways, and a fake city was built on top of them. (presumably) Martin dropped the rope to him in the room above, despite his wrists being shackled.

This episode delivers all the usual creepy vibes and the characters stay on edge. Instead of giving us any real answers, the show just seems to be adding more layers to the mystery. If From holds back without revealing anything, it could end up losing viewers who want at least a glimmer of the truth.
Right now, the mystery is still engrossing – but we’re all waiting for a little more light in the darkness
